Introducing our Indigo Dyeing Kit - the ultimate solution for achieving beautiful, vibrant hues on your fabrics using natural indigo dye. Unlike other natural dyes, indigo does not require a mordanting process, making it a versatile and easy-to-use option for all types of fibers.
Our kit includes everything you need to reduce indigo organically, including 50g of indigo dye and the appropriate reducing agents. The included instructions guide you through the vat dyeing process, allowing you to dye at least 1 kg of fabric to a medium darkness. With our kit, you'll have everything you need to create stunning, long-lasting indigo dyeing on your fabrics.
When you've used all of the products in the kit, you can purchase them individually, in accordance with the numbers on the packages. The dyeing recipe is only included with the kit.
It is important to note that before dyeing, a good washing/scouring process is essential for homogeneous and permanent results. The kit includes detailed instructions on this process and the materials you'll need. For wool and silk, you'll only need materials commonly found in your home, but cotton requires a special washing agent (no: 1, available in our shop).
